Materials: computers, handouts to put the research on, powerpoint
Description
  • the students will each pick a dinosaur to learn about
  • they will use a provided handout to help keep the information that they look up organized
  • the students will use the computers to go online and find information to answer the questions on their handout about the dinosaur that they have picked
  • after the students have completed the handout, they will use the information on the handout to make a powerpoint presentation about their dinosaur
  • after they have transferred the information to powerpoint, they will add two or three pictures to their powerpoints
  • the students will present their powerpoints after they have completed them
Scaffolds: the teacher should provide a list of websites for the students to go to that will help them find the information that they need as a scaffold
Technology to Support Authentic Instruction: The students will be using the internet and they will be using powerpoint during this lesson
